Due to the characteristics of a skin pigmentation, any removal of a tattoo will leave marks more or less evident in the patient. Therefore, we advise not to remove it, or explain in detail that any sequelae (hypertrophic scarring, changes in skin color, keloids, deformations, etc.) may occur. Once guided and accepted, the patient undergoes the following treatments: laser, dermabrasion (skin sanding) or surgical resection.
