Groove Filling
Soft tissue fillers, better known as facial implants, can help to minimize wrinkles and furrows and restore a more youthful appearance to the skin of the face. These substances, when injected under the skin, fill in the depressions and grooves “pushing the skin upwards” making the skin smoother and more youthful. It can also be applied to lips and earlobe, and can be accompanied by a simultaneous treatment of the skin, or even be associated with face surgery (rhytidoplasty).
It is important to note that facial implants may or may not be permanent. The injected material is eventually absorbed by the body, some more quickly than others. These procedures have a good immediate result, are affordable, do not require hospitalization and there is no need to leave normal activities.
